Just who am I

So now that you’ve wandered here from whichever Twitter message with which I spammed you or via some friend of yours who said to “talk to this guy, he’ll talk about anything” or maybe it was just a mid-night run in after a quick Google search after a box of wine and a can of Cheese Whiz.  Either way, I thank you for taking a little time out of your life to explore my little corner of the Blog-o-sphere.

So who the heck am I you ask?  Well it all started one day…. at band camp…. Just kidding!  Actually I’m just a boy, blogging from my little Mac.  Letting the random thoughts of my mind filter through my fingers and spill out all over my keyboard (Quick!  Someone grab a Q-tip before it gets between the keys!).  I’m Brandon Smith, founder/principal/therapist of d.coop, a boutique spatial design and development firm in chilly San Diego, California. I’m self described as a cross between The Devil Wears Prada’s Miranda Priestly and reality TV star Jeff Lewis (read: ADD). I also like to throw out descriptors like caffeinated, pulpy, strange, and a bit geeky.  And I’ll admit, I can be a bit contradictory.  You’ll probably see one if not all of those traits in my posts. My posts, my posts which read a little like tele-novellas from mid-day Spanish TVs.  Which can go on and on until I have to re-edit twice before I post and once again the next morning because I mis-spelled “of”.

Why should you keep reading?  Well I’m no celebrity (except in my mind where Bob Barker introduces me with his mantra “don’t forget to spay and neuter your pets”).  What I try to do is put out reality, granted it’s my reality, but reality none the less.  I’m not always pretty. I’m not trying to pat myself on the back.  And I’m certainly not trying to get my 15 minutes of fame.  I can only hope that what you find here is educational, inspiring, and above all, ME.

So enjoy, critique if you must, and stick around.  My blog hasn’t been around that long but I hope to keep it around.

Oh Brandon…I love your little bio. So happy you came across my Twitter so I could come across your blog.

  3. I think you are quite simply, adorable ~ like fun adorable, not the ‘grandparents pinching your cheeks adorable’. *_*.
Can’t wait to swap Parisian stories and get into all kinds of trouble with you on the twitter-verse too!
    Cheers
    Lynne xx

  4. Wow that was strange. I just wrote an extremely long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t appear. Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over again. Anyway, just wanted to say great blog!
